Ceremonial Ground Breaking Shovel

I was saddened last week to hear of the passing of Tim Russert. I am a huge fan of Meet the Press and especially of Mr. Russert, a favourite son of nearby Buffalo New York. We share a love of the Buffalo Bills and he will be sorely missed on Sunday mornings. His fairness to all sides of the political spectrum is rare in todays world. RIP Tim Russert.

Now, on a lighter note.

Rittenhouse is pleased to offer a lower cost ceremonial ground breaking shovel. As a garden tool retailer we have all sorts of gardening and landscaping tools. When I was surfing around Google several weeks or so ago, I was typing in shovels. I found that there are people charging up to $200 for a chrome plated shovel to be used in ceremonial ground breaking events. You know what I am talking about, where a bunch of people in suits (and sometimes the local politicians) gather in a field and put on shiny white hard hats, take a shovel and dig up a little dirt while photographers take a bunch of pictures. Well, at Rittenhouse we have a beautiful polished stainless steel shovel with a red oak handle that would work perfectly for your ground breaking ceremony without spending a fortune. We have them listed at $56.00 right now. If you wanted you could take them to an engraving place to turn the shovel into a keepsake or to frame in the lobby of the building you are about to build.

So, I present .... the Rittenhouse Ceremonial Groundbreaking Shovel.
That is all for today.
